Why does birth time matter?
Birth time can change the calculated result, so accurate local time is important when it is available.
Why is the time used?
The Human Design calculation depends on astronomical positions derived from the birth moment. A different time can change chart details, which is why the platform asks for the local recorded birth time.
Should I convert it to UTC?
No. Enter the recorded local clock time and select the correct place. The platform resolves the historical timezone context needed to normalize the calculation.
