Why do I need to choose a birth location?
The birth location helps resolve coordinates and historical timezone rules for the chart calculation.
Why not just enter a timezone?
Timezone rules change across place and date, including historical daylight-saving changes. Selecting the actual place gives the platform the context needed to resolve the correct normalization.
What if two places have the same name?
Choose the result matching the intended country and region. If you are not sure, verify the source instead of selecting the first matching name.
