When the birth time is unknown
What to do when you know the birth date and place but do not have a reliable birth time.
Do not invent precision
If the birth time is genuinely unknown, avoid entering a random time and treating the result as exact. Human Design calculations can change across a day, so a guessed time can produce a chart that looks authoritative while being based on unsupported input.
Use the unknown-time flow
Where supported, mark the birth time as unknown. The platform can preserve that fact in the profile and limit or label results that cannot be treated as time-specific. The exact behavior depends on what the verified calculation engine can support safely.
Improve the source before the chart
If an exact chart matters to you, consider checking a birth certificate, hospital record, family record, or another reliable source. Record the source separately in your own notes rather than changing the time until a preferred interpretation appears.
